Try to submit interesting articles to digg.com it has significantly improved my site's traffic. It is now in the 500k range since it started on 1st July 2008

Articles on my site usually get indexed under an hour without any of those methods.

Well, twitter is good as a broadcast medium. It's not very much of a social network because of it's simplicity. I use twitter to receive and broadcast news and updates.

I think every site (without flash) which loads well on Firefox will load properly on the iPhone/iPad.
